World Tourism Day 2010 @ Vijayawada

AP Tourism Department has Conducted ‘Budding Chef’s Live Cooking Competition’ on September 25, 2010 in Association with Vijayawada Hotels Association. The Students of ‘Roots Institute’ won the Competition.

Siddartha Institute Conducted ‘Magic of Mise en Place- Culinary Competition’ on September 27, 2010 on the Occasion of World Tourism Day. Colleges from Vijayawada & Hyderabad participated in this Competition. The Budding Chefs Prepared a 5 Course Menu within the stipulated 3 Hours of time. Students of ‘Roots Institute’ got Second Place.

Budding Chefs Carving Competition @ Hyderabad

Association of Catering Professionals (ACP) has Conducted ‘Budding Chef’s Carving Competition’ in March 2011 at Hyderabad.
The Students of ‘Roots Institute’ got the Consolation Prize.

Vijayawada Hoteliers Association- Golden Jubilee Celebrations Vijayawada Hoteliers Association has organized a Culinary Event as part of their Golden Jubilee Celebrations. Hotels and Catering Colleges from Vijayawada displayed their Culinary Skills in this event.
